*NEW* Skin Booster/Vital Injector

What's New?

For 15 years we've been offering "skin booster" injection treatments that *temporarily* stimulated hydration and new collagen formation. The treatment was safe, and improved skin appearance, but results were not long lasting.

*Latest News* is the release in Australia of a *new* skin boosting treatment that will sit in the skin boosting its quality for *many months* or possible even *years*

This treatment was launched in Australia in March 2024

What do you use it for?

In patients aged 30 - 60, this kind of treatment has been demonstrated to

  • Diminish depth of wrinkles
  • Improve skin roughness
  • Improve skin elasticity
  • Improve facial curved volume
  • Reduce pore size
  • Improve skin hydration
  • Improve trans-epidermal water loss
  • Improve skin glossiness  (JCD Feb 2024)

It is therefore suitable for most patients who are (1) in need of *some sort* of skin quality improvement, and (2) likely to be appreciative of the degree of improvement such treatments can deliver i.e. not seeking a face-lift level of instant change.

Patients with a skin age over 60 will still benefit but may need bigger doses.

Side effects?

Pretty hard to administer all those injections without getting *some* bruising, although that in turn depends on the depth to which the injections are placed. The more superficial injections are less likely to bruise.

Because the treatment is applied very superficially, there is a vanishingly small risk of any other side effect aside from bruising (and, of course, the tiny risk of allergy). Infection is virtually never seen

And the treatment regime? How often is treatment needed?

This depends on the degree of improvement sought.

For the very cautious we'd recommend one ml each side of the face as a "one-off", then observe.

For those desirous of more change we would recommend one ml each side of the face per month for three months, then observe.
